It has been reported that six persons, Vinu, Manoj, Saravanan, Gopinath, Tarun Kathir and Arun Kumar had taken a home on lease in Kurumbanur in Mettupalayam. This gang posing as police men of Sub-Inspector (SI) rank has been collecting money by threatening the public.
