Andhra Pradesh calls off APSRTC services to Tamil Nadu

Cyclone Nada has come and gone and currently, Chennai is experiencing a tsunami of emotions. Chief Minister J Jayalalitha suffered a cardiac arrest and her health is critical. Following this news, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has cancelled all the buses to Tamil Nadu.

It has also been reported that the security around the political party offices in Chennai including that of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has been tightened. The US consulate in Chennai has suspended all appointments for VISA interviews for applicants and routine services to the US citizens.
