Thirumavalavan also affirmed that 'Makkal Nala Kootamaippu' was formed to work for the welfare of the people and during the time of elections it was changed into 'Makkal Nala Kootani' and anyways it is not a permanent union.”
'We will unite on the basis of the problems faced by the people. I have not got invitation for the all party protest which was called for by the DMK with regard to Jallikattu. The central government should give permission for Jallikattu in spite of the court orders. The uniform civil Sharia law is interfering with the rights of Muslims. To oppose the uniform civil code, I am participating in the meet in Gudalur' VCK leader said.
