Corporation removes shops built on pathway of Nawab Hakkim road, Ukkadam.

The walkway in front of the Corporation complex situated in the Nawab Hakkim road, Ukkadam have been encroached by shop keepers who have extended their shops covering the pathway. Due notices and warnings were served to them to remove the encroachments and alter their premise accordingly.

Today, on orders from Coimbatore corporation commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan, corporation officials, officials from town planning department and police removed the encroachments along the pathway.

The exercise was supervised by Assistant revenue officer and corporation officials.
