SNR College students celebrate Pongal at a tribal village

The entire city is gearing-up to celebrate the harvest festival in a grand manner.

Students from various educational institutions are also busy celebrating Pongal at their premise, all dressed-up in traditional attires. As a part of celebrating Pongal, students of SNR Arts College celebrated Pongal in a different manner.

Instead of celebrating Pongal at their college campus, the students chose to celebrate Pongal with tribal people who live at the suburbs of Coimbatore. Coimbatore city police, students and teachers of SNR Arts College visited a tribal village and celebrated 'Kaatu Pongal' along with the villagers.
