'Fleecing contractors at parking lots and pay & use toilets will be taken to task', warns Corporation Commissioner


The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) Commissioner has in the past acted tough on contractors who have charged users more than the stipulated fee at parking lots and at pay and use public toilets. 

CCMC Commissioner Dr. Vijayakarthikeyan has issued a statement regarding fleecing contractors, he said, “The contractors at the corporation parking lots and pay and use toilets should adhere to the rates fixed by the corporation to be collected from the public. Those stipulated rates should be displayed at a prominent place such that they are visible to the users. The contractors who fail to abide to these principles will be terminated and their deposits will be withheld'. 

The public are also hereby asked to report about fleecing contractors to the corporation offices. It is be evoked that in the past the corporation has terminated and levied fine on contractors, upon receiving complaints from the public.
