Supporters clean the trash at VOC grounds, demand more garbage bins from Corporation.

The thousands of Jallikattu supporters who have gathered at the VOC grounds for the fourth consecutive day has demanded the city corporation to provide additional garbage bins in this protest site. 'As, every day the tons of trash collected by us has been pooled and deposited at the protest site due to lack of sufficient garbage bins, they said. 








The spirited supporters collected the trash like water packets, left overs of food and biscuit packets from the grounds and on the roads of VOC park. Yesterday night, the corporation lorry was there to collect the trash, which was close to a ton. 

The supporters have requested the corporation to install more garbage bins temporarily to aid them dispose the pooled trash. It is to be noted that the supporters they have not demanded more corporation workers to be deployed at the site to clear the trash but just bins!
