In an inspiring celebration of artistic talent, Coimbatore’s government school students gathered at the Hindustan College of Arts and Science to participate in a district-level art festival. This competitive event features a variety of artistic expressions including literary arts, fine arts, music performance, instrumental skills, language proficiency, theater, and dance, spanning across nine categories with a total of 190 competitions.
An impressive turnout of 7,470 students from the Coimbatore district joined in the festivities, showcasing their skills and passion for the arts. The festival, held at the prestigious Hindustan College premises, is a testament to the rich cultural engagement among the educational institutions in the region.



The art festival was graced by the presence of the District Collector, Mr. K. Rajamani, who took the time to observe the competitions and offer his encouragement and congratulations to the participants. He acknowledged the students’ efforts and appreciated the platform that the festival provides for nurturing young talent. Winners of these events are set to advance to the state-level competition, potentially taking their artistic ambitions to an even larger stage.
