Min. Senthil Balaji hears public grievances, receives petitions at City Council Meeting in Coimbatore

Minister Senthil Balaji attended the City Council Meeting at Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore and listened to the grievances of the public and assured them that he would implement solutions to address their grievances.



Coimbatore: The City Council Meeting was held in the Ramanathapuram area of Coimbatore on Tuesday. Minister Senthil Balaji attended the meeting and heard the grievances of the public, after which he also received their petitions.



Speaking at the City Council Meeting, Minister Senthil Balaji said that the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu had issued an ordinance with the serious intention that the Government should listen to the demands and grievances of the public through the City Council Meetings and implement them.



"In Coimbatore, 846 Sabhas have been formed and the People's Assembly Meetings are underway. Six such meetings have been held in a period of 12 months. The Chief Minister issued orders for 25,000 petitions received in Coimbatore. Rs. 211 crore worth of work has been done in Coimbatore.



In the one-and-a-half years since coming to power, the Chief Minister has initiated historic projects. He will grant many more schemes to Coimbatore.



Although there are MLAs in the Opposition in all the 10 constituencies in Coimbatore, Chief Minister M K Stalin has taken steps to implement projects without seeing the ruling party as an opposition party.
