Man arrested in car theft case in Coimbatore

In the car theft case, while five persons had already been arrested, a police team led by Inspector Damodaran arrested Snake Mani alias Chandrasekaran (39) who had been absconding, from Kannarpalayam area.


Coimbatore: Sudhakar (52), a resident of Thoppampatti division in Coimbatore district, had hired a temporary driver to go out for his personal work on December 8. The man allegedly stole the car and absconded.

Based on the complaint lodged by Sudhakar, the Thudiyalur police registered a case and began investigating. As a first step, the police arrested five persons involved in the case and lodged them in jail.

While five people have already been arrested in the case, the police, led by Inspector Damodaran, arrested Snake Mani alias Chandrasekaran (39), who had been absconding from Kannarpalayam. Later, Chandrasekaran was sent to judicial custody and lodged in jail.
