Pipelines breached during trial run of fourth water supply project, at Thirumuruganpoondi in Tirupur due to which, waters gushed out and flooded the streets.

Tirupur: The fourth water supply project at an estimated cost of Rs 1,000 crore is being implemented under the AMRUT scheme to supply drinking water to areas under Tirupur Corporation.

As per the project, drinking water will be supplied from Mettupalayam through pipe lines and supplied throughout Tirupur.
