Traffic congestion continues on Udumalpet Kachcheri Road - Ambulances find it tough

Kachcheri Road, where government offices are located at Udumalpet in Tirupur district, is witnessing increasing vehicular traffic day by day. There is a demand that the police should take appropriate action to rectify this.

Tirupur: Important government offices such as court, taluk office, sub-registrar's office and banks are functioning at Udumalai Kachcheri Road in Tirupur district.

Due to this, a large number of vehicles come and go on the road every day. Also, since there is a government hospital in the area, ambulances are also using this kachcheri road.

In this situation, those coming to restaurants and banks on Kachcheri Road park their vehicles haphazardly, causing ambulances to crawl. Due to this, there is occasional traffic jams.

In order to solve this problem, the concerned traffic police should be engaged in patrolling in the Kacheri Road area during morning and evening hours. Social activists have demanded that the traffic police impose fines on vehicles parked to obstruct traffic.
