Shocking CCTV footage of man ending his life by jumping under bus rear wheel in Coimbatore's area goes viral

Even as the man is overrun by the bus, the CCTV footage shows the unaware wife who was walking away, slowly turning around to witness the shocking suicide.



Coimbatore: In a shocking incident in broad daylight at Palladam, a man ended his life by jumping under the back wheels of a state-run bus in Coimbatore. The CCTV footage of the suicide has gone viral which also shows the unaware wife who was walking away in the opposite direction slowly turn around after hearing screams.

Balamurugan and Manjula hail from Chittampalayam on Palladam Road in Tirupur district. They had reportedly gone in a Government bus to visit a relative who had been admitted to a private hospital in the Gandhipuram area of Coimbatore.

According to the CCTV footage, the couple alight from the bus and walk away i opposite directions at the Varadarajapuram bus stop.



Suddenly as the bus is seen leaving the stop, Balamurugan drops his bag and jumps under the rear wheel of the bus. The bus runs over Balamurugan who dies on the spot and is seen lying in a pool of blood in the CCTV footage.

The CCTV footage of the shocking suicide which took place right in front of Balamurugan's eyes has now been released. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
