Tourists rejoiced with the Increase in inflow of water in Udumalai Panchalinga falls

For the past few months, udumalai has returned disappointed as he could not take a bath in the next Panchalinga falls due to lack of rainfall. A large number of tourists enjoyed bathing as the inflow of water increased due to rain on Monday.

Tirupur: As the inflow of water has risen, a huge number of visitors have taken a dip in the Panchalinga falls at Thirumoorthy hills near Udumalpet.

Panchalinga Falls is located in Tirupur's Thirumoorthy Hills, near Udumalai. The waterfall is located in the dense forest area of the Udumalai forest range and supplies water to the gurumalai, lower gurumalai, kottayar, parapattiyar, kurumalai river, kizhavipatti river, uppumannapatti river, palar, and uzhaviyar rivers.

When it rains in the forest, the flow of water into the rivers rises. The rivers that pass through the forest area converge near the Pancha Lingas and form a waterfall.

A variety of herbs scattered in the forest area dissolve during floods. A large number of tourists from outside the districts and other states visit Thirumoorthy hills every day to take a bath in the herbal water that falls in the falls and rejuvenate it.

There has been no rain in the water bodies of the falls since the northeast monsoon as the inflow of water has increased. However, there was some inflow of water. Following this, the tourists came to Panchalinga falls with enthusiasm and enjoyed a bath.

In this context, the impact of heat has been on the rise in the forest area over the past few months. Due to this, the inflow of water in the water sources of the falls decreased and water also fell on the panchalinga falls adjacent to the wall. Due to this, the tourists who visited panchalinga falls were disappointed as they could not take a bath.

In this context, there was sudden rain in the catchment areas of the falls on Monday.

Due to this, the inflow of water to the falls has increased. Disappointed tourists who came to cool the summer heat are happy with the increase in inflow of water to the falls.
