7-year-old recites entire epic of Ramayana in One hour 37 minutes and 40 seconds in Coimbatore

Saurav Sivakumar is the son of Sivakumar and Malarvizhi of Udumalpet near Coimbatore. Sourav, a seven-year-old boy, has been listening to spiritual stories since childhood. His parents noticed his interest and taught him the Ramayana epic in Tamil.


Coimbatore: The Indian Book of Records recognised the boy's feat and honoured him with an award.

Saurav Sivakumar is the son of Sivakumar and Malarvizhi of Udumalpet near Coimbatore. Sourav, a seven-year-old boy, has been listening to spiritual stories since childhood. At this stage, his parents noticed his interest and taught him the Ramayana epic purana in Tamil. The boy observed this deeply and absorbed the whole story into his mind. He did not lose the slightest hesitation in the stories he had taught, but at the same time quickly began to give speeches so that others could understand them quickly.

Seeing his rare talent, his parents trained him continuously for 40 days. Following the training, on the occasion of Sri Ramanuja Jayanti and Adi Sankara Jayanthi, The boy Sourav narrated the entire epic story of Ramayana, sanskrit shlokas and everything from the balakandama of the Ramayana to the yuddha ghandham. In 1 hour and 37 minutes, Ramayanathi has delivered a lecture on stories.

This spectacular event of a seven-year-old boy studying in class 3 was recognised as an achievement.



The India Book of Records recognized him as "the boy who quickly lectured on the entire Ramayana stories".



Appreciating the boy's achievement, the India Book of Records honoured him with a certificate of achievement and medals.

Earlier, Kalam Book Records had appreciated and recognised his achievement in Ramayana.



Saurav is being praised by many for preparing to speak the entire Ramayana story in tamil in just 40 days.
