Thousands of cadres of DMK Women's Wing staged a protest in Coimbatore condemning ‘massacre’ of democracy in Manipur

DMK Women’s wing organized a massive protest in the district capitals to condemn the democratic massacre of tribal women in Manipur and condemn the fascist BJP government for failing to control the riots.



Coimbatore: The women's wing of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) on Monday organised a massive protest at the district capital highlighting the democratic massacre in Manipur and the heinous crime against tribal women being paraded naked.

Similarly, a protest demonstration was held in Dadabad, Coimbatore under the leadership of Malathi Nagarajan, secretary of the Coimbatore district women wing of DMK accompanied by Mayor Kalpana and other women cadres.



In this demonstration, they carried banners condemning the fascist BJP government for failing to control the riots in Manipur and raised slogans against the BJP government.

And in this regard, Malathi said, "It is shameful to say that Modi came to know about the sexual violence in Manipur after so many days. When so many atrocities are going on in BJP-ruled Manipur, Vanathi Srinivasan has not opened her mouth about this but has spoken disparagingly about the DMK. If Vanathi Srinivasan continues to behave the same we will besiege her house."



Standing committee members, zonal leaders and others took part in this protest.
