First Phase Training Camp for Polling Officers Held in Mettupalayam

A first phase training camp for polling officers took place today, March 24, at a private school on Sirumugai Road, Mettupalayam, led by Assistant Election Officer Gunasekaran, with the presence of Nilgiris District Social Security Scheme Deputy Collector Kalpana.


Coimbatore: In a significant move towards ensuring smooth conduct of upcoming elections, a first phase training camp for polling officers was organized today, March 24, at a private school located on Sirumugai Road, Mettupalayam. The training session, aimed at equipping polling officers with necessary guidelines and advice for the election process, was presided over by Gunasekaran, the Assistant Election Officer. Kalpana, the Deputy Collector for Nilgiris District Social Security Scheme, marked her presence, underlining the importance of the training.

The camp saw participation from over 1,500 officers, highlighting the scale and earnestness of the preparation for the upcoming elections. Various aspects of the election process were discussed, and officers were provided with crucial advice on conducting the polls efficiently and effectively. This training is part of a series of efforts to ensure that the election process is conducted smoothly and without any hiccups, reflecting the commitment of the election commission and local authorities to uphold the democratic process.
