Coimbatore's Equine Dreams Students Triumph at Equestrian Championships

Students from Equine Dreams in Coimbatore have made remarkable achievements in the State and National Level Equestrian Championships, securing 80% of the prizes, with one student qualifying for the 2024 Junior National Equestrian Championship.


Coimbatore: In an impressive display of talent and dedication, 10 students from Coimbatore's renowned horse-riding school, Equine Dreams, clinched 80% of the prizes at both state and national-level Equestrian Championships, as announced by Sakthi Balaji, CEO of Equine Dreams, during a press conference on Wednesday.The state-level championship was organized by the Chennai Equestrian Club, while the national-level event took place under the auspices of the Red Earth Riding School in Auroville.

Competing in various categories, including Showjumping, Open Category, and Dressage, the students — Hasini, Arjun, Nithin, Dhaya, Manoj, Bharath, Shivakumar, Narthanya, Adhidev, and Achala — emerged victorious, showcasing their equestrian skills.

Highlighting the achievements, Sakthi Balaji shared that Hasini has not only excelled in the championships but also qualified for the 2024 Junior National Equestrian Championship. Moreover, she is ambitiously preparing for the 2030 Youth Olympics in Thailand.Founded in 2014, Equine Dreams stands as Coimbatore's first horse-riding school, contributing significantly to the equestrian landscape by training hundreds of students, many of whom have attained state and national honors. Presently, the school hosts over 30 horses, including 6 imported and 7 indigenous breeds, and trains over 80 students under the guidance of Chief Coach Indian Equestrian Olympian Imtiaz Anees and Senior Coach Balamurugan.
