The AIADMK has inaugurated a water stall near Lucky Bus Stop in Dharapuram, Tirupur district, to provide water and refreshments to the public during the intense summer heat.
Dharapuram: In response to the scorching heat reaching 110 degrees in Dharapuram, the AIADMK organized an event to inaugurate a water stall near the Lucky Bus Stop. The function commenced with tributes paid to M.G. Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa, followed by the cutting of a ribbon by city secretary C.R. Rajavendran. Refreshments including water, buttermilk, and watermelon were distributed among the public.
Party city treasurer Palanisami, known as Chinappan, and other officials participated in the event. C.R. Rajavendran expressed gratitude towards AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami and party leaders for their support. He emphasized that the stall aims to provide relief to residents suffering from the extreme temperatures, stating plans to serve around 5000 people daily with water and seasonal fruits.
