Coimbatore Experiences Unexpected Rains Amid Agni Natchathiram Heat

Agni Natchathiram began a week ago in Coimbatore, raising concerns about the intense heat. For the past four days, intermittent rains have provided relief.


Coimbatore: Just as the citizens of Coimbatore were bracing themselves for the scorching heat of the Agni Natchathiram period, which started a week ago, unexpected showers over the last four days have brought much-needed relief.



This evening, around 4:30 PM, areas such as Goundampalayam, Idayarpalayam, Saibaba Colony, Kovil Medu, Vadavalli, Thudiyalur, and Periyanayakkanpalayam witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall. The cool climate after the rain has made the residents joyful, marking a pleasant departure from the anticipated heat.
