Coimbatore: After days of sweltering heat, residents of Coimbatore were greeted with widespread and continuous rainfall across the district, providing much-needed relief. Over the past few days, all parts of the district experienced scattered showers.

Today, May 17, saw cloud-covered skies leading to rain in multiple localities, including Thudiyalur, Sundarapuram, Ukkadam, Peelamedu, Singanallur, Ramanathapuram, and Madukkarai. Rain continues to fall in areas surrounding Thudiyalur, further cooling down the region.
