DMK Wins in Coimbatore; Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam Celebrates with Mutton Biryani Feast

In Coimbatore, following the Lok Sabha election results, Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam hosted a mutton biryani feast celebrating BJP's defeat and Annamalai's loss in the polls.


Coimbatore: The recent Lok Sabha election vote count concluded with DMK’s candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar defeating BJP state leader Annamalai in the highly anticipated Coimbatore constituency. BJP failed to secure even a single seat in Tamil Nadu, leading to widespread celebrations among DMK supporters. They marked the victory with fireworks and sweets distribution, adding to the festivities were servings of mutton biryani across various locations.



In line with the celebrations, the Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam in Coimbatore organized a mutton biryani feast to celebrate BJP's and particularly Annamalai’s defeat.



The feast, held at the Periyar Study Centre in Gandhipuram, saw the participation of multiple Dravidian party members and organizations, reflecting the collective joy in their victory.
