DMK's Youth Wing Membership Drive in Ward 63 of Coimbatore - Minister Muthuswamy Participates

DMK's "Youth Wing to Every Home" membership drive was conducted in Ward 63 of Coimbatore on July 11. Minister S. Muthuswamy and other party officials participated in the event held at Perumal Temple ground.


Coimbatore: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) conducted its "Youth Wing to Every Home" membership drive in Ward 63 of Coimbatore on July 11. The event, part of a statewide initiative, was held at the Perumal Temple ground in the Ramanathapuram area.

Tamil Nadu Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Prohibition and Excise, S. Muthuswamy, participated in the membership drive. The event was also attended by N. Karthik, former MLA and Coimbatore Urban District Secretary of DMK, along with other party officials and volunteers.

The membership drive was organized under the leadership of Udhayanidhi Stalin, DMK's Youth Wing Secretary and Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development. The initiative aims to strengthen the party's presence at the grassroots level across Tamil Nadu.

R. Dhanpal, Coimbatore Urban District Youth Wing Organizer, and Lara Premdev, Deputy Organizer, supervised the event. P. Pasupathi, the Ramanathapuram area secretary, presided over the function. The 63rd ward party secretary, Shanmugasundaram, was also present.

Other notable attendees included general committee member V.N. Udayakumar, M.M.S. Murugan, and Shanthi Murugan, the chairperson of the Coimbatore Corporation's working committee. The event saw active participation from DMK executives and volunteers from the area.

This membership drive is part of DMK's efforts to engage more youth in political activities and strengthen the party's base at the local level. Similar drives are being conducted across Tamil Nadu as part of the party's strategy to connect with the younger generation.
