In Coimbatore, the Galaxy Rotaract Club and PSG College students joined hands to support a differently-abled couple by providing them with a petty shop, enhancing their livelihood opportunities.

Coimbatore: In a heartwarming gesture, the Coimbatore Galaxy Rotaract Club and students from PSG College of Arts and Science have come together to support a differently-abled couple by providing them with a petty shop. This initiative aims to improve the livelihood of persons with disabilities in the city.

The beneficiaries, Theresanathan and Viji, a differently-abled couple residing in the Soolur Housing Board Colony, received the petty shop from the joint efforts of the Rotaract Club and B.Com Retail Management students from PSG College. The event, which took place recently, saw participation from numerous Rotaract Club members and college students.

It's worth noting that Theresanathan is a wheelchair cricket player, adding significance to the support provided to the couple. This initiative not only helps in improving their economic condition but also serves as an inspiration to other differently-abled individuals in the community.

The collaboration between the Coimbatore Galaxy Rotaract Club and PSG College students demonstrates the power of community engagement and social responsibility. Such efforts play a crucial role in creating an inclusive society and providing equal opportunities for all, regardless of their physical abilities.
