AJK College Organizes Cancer Awareness Program and Signs MoU with Valliammal Charitable Trust

AJK College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore held a cancer awareness program and signed an MoU with Valliammal Charitable Trust on July 19, 2024, featuring Dr. Kannan Maharajan as the chief guest.


Coimbatore: The AJK College of Arts and Science, an A+ NAAC accredited autonomous institution in Coimbatore, organized an awareness program on cancer prevention through its Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell. The event, titled "Let's Talk about Cancer Awareness and Prevention," took place on July 19, 2024.

As part of the program, the college also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Valliammal Charitable Trust, Coimbatore. This collaboration aims to further strengthen the institution's commitment to community health and awareness initiatives.



The event featured Dr. Kannan Maharajan as the chief guest. Dr. Maharajan, who holds an MBBS and DNB in Radiation Oncology, along with a CCEPC in Palliative Care, is currently serving as a Consultant in Radiation Oncology at Royal Care Hospitals, Coimbatore. His expertise in the field of oncology provided valuable insights to the attendees.
