Two mobile phones and cash stolen from house near New Sidhapudur in Coimbatore

A house in K.K. Nagar, New Sidhapudur, Coimbatore was burgled on Monday night. The thieves stole two mobile phones and Rs. 4,300 in cash after breaking the lock.


Coimbatore: In a case of house burglary, unidentified individuals broke into a residence in K.K. Nagar, New Sidhapudur, Coimbatore, and made off with two mobile phones and Rs. 4,300 in cash.

The victim, Savitri, wife of Rajkumar from Arunachal Pradesh, is employed as a sanitation worker in a private hospital. She resides in a rented house in K.K. Nagar, New Sidhapudur.

On Monday night, when Savitri returned from work, she discovered that the lock of her house had been broken. Upon entering, she found that two mobile phones and Rs. 4,300 in cash were missing from the house.

Following the incident, Savitri filed a complaint at the Race Course Police Station on July 23. The police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation into the burglary.

This incident has raised concerns about the security situation in the area, and residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the local authorities.
