Coimbatore: The Pollachi Government Hospital hosted an awareness program on August 1, focusing on balanced diet habits and stress management for drivers and conductors working in the local branch of the state transport corporation.

The event aimed to address the unique challenges faced by public transport employees, particularly in managing their mental health and maintaining proper nutrition amidst their demanding work schedules.

Dr. Archana, a yoga and naturopathy expert, along with therapy specialist Vignesh, conducted the training session. They provided valuable insights and practical techniques to help the participants cope with work-related stress and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The program emphasized the importance of a balanced diet, considering the irregular eating patterns often associated with the transport workers' shifts. Participants were educated on making healthier food choices and understanding the impact of nutrition on their overall well-being and job performance.
