Mother Mary's Birthday Celebrated with Grandeur at St. John Bosco Church in Coimbatore

St. John Bosco Church in Goundampalayam, Coimbatore, celebrated Mother Mary's birthday with a grand procession of children dressed as Mother Mary and a special chariot procession, marking the occasion with devotion and fervor.


Coimbatore: The St. John Bosco Church in Goundampalayam, Coimbatore diocese, celebrated the birth of Mother Mary with great enthusiasm and devotion. The highlight of the celebration was a procession featuring over 40 children dressed in various costumes representing Mother Mary, adding a vibrant and colorful touch to the festivities.

The event also included a special chariot procession dedicated to Mother Mary, symbolizing the devotees' prayers and wishes. Adding to the significance of the day, a Catholic e-magazine titled "Oliyin Vidhai" (Seed of Light) was officially launched during the celebration.



Fr. Fernando Moses, the Managing Director of Don Bosco Excellence School, and Fr. Thaddeus Simon Kennedy, the parish priest of St. John Bosco Church, led the special Holy Mass, marking the spiritual importance of the occasion.



The celebration saw a large gathering of parishioners from St. John Bosco Church and local residents, who participated enthusiastically in the festivities, making it a memorable community event.
