MP Eswarasamy Inspects Bridge Project Connecting Western Bypass and Coimbatore City Road

Pollachi MP K. Eswarasamy conducted an on-site inspection of the proposed bridge connecting the Western Bypass and Coimbatore City Road, discussing potential design changes with the project director.

Coimbatore: Pollachi Member of Parliament K. Eswarasamy conducted an on-site inspection of the proposed bridge project that aims to connect the Western Bypass and Coimbatore City Road. The inspection, which took place on September 11, involved discussions with the project director about the current plans and potential modifications.

During the visit, MP Eswarasamy raised concerns about the existing project designs. He pointed out that the current plans could lead to traffic congestion and future transportation hurdles. In light of these potential issues, the MP suggested redesigning the project to incorporate an elevated bridge instead.

The MP's recommendation stems from the need to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent future bottlenecks in this crucial connecting route. By proposing an elevated bridge, Eswaran aims to address both current and anticipated traffic challenges in the rapidly growing urban landscape of Coimbatore.

Deputy Mayor R. Vetri Selvan and other government officials accompanied MP Eswaran during the inspection. Their presence underscores the importance of this infrastructure project for the city's development and the collaborative effort between elected representatives and administrative bodies in shaping Coimbatore's urban infrastructure.

As the project moves forward, it remains to be seen how the suggestions made during this inspection will influence the final design and implementation of the bridge connecting these two significant roadways in Coimbatore.
