AIADMK Stages Human Chain Protest in Kinathukadavu Against DMK Government

AIADMK members led by MLA Damodaran conducted a human chain protest in Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore, against the DMK government's policies on property tax hikes, electricity tariff increases, and law and order issues.

Coimbatore: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) staged a human chain protest in Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore, on Wednesday, condemning the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government's policies. The demonstration, led by Kinathukadavu MLA Damodaran, was part of a statewide protest by the AIADMK against property tax hikes, electricity tariff increases, and alleged deterioration of law and order in Tamil Nadu.

Over 300 AIADMK members and supporters formed a human chain in front of the old bus stand in Kinathukadavu, raising slogans against the DMK government. The protesters voiced their concerns over various issues affecting the common people and demanded immediate action from the state government.

Kinathukadavu Panchayat AIADMK Secretary Moorthy and several other party functionaries participated in the protest. The demonstration was part of a larger movement by the AIADMK across Tamil Nadu, highlighting what they claim are the failures of the DMK administration in addressing key issues faced by the public.

The human chain protest in Kinathukadavu attracted significant attention from locals and passersby, with the AIADMK members maintaining a peaceful demonstration throughout the event. The party aims to use such protests to garner public support and put pressure on the DMK government to reconsider its policies on taxation and public utilities.
