IndiGo Resumes Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi Flight Services from August 15

IndiGo Airlines announces resumption of Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi flight operations from August 15, operating four days weekly after temporary suspension due to Iran-Israel conflict. Services will operate on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday with convenient timings for passengers and business travelers.

Coimbatore: IndiGo Airlines has announced the resumption of its direct Coimbatore–Abu Dhabi flight services from August 15, restoring a key international air link for passengers and the business community in the region.

The airline had temporarily suspended operations on the route following airspace disruptions caused by the Iran-Israel conflict. With services set to resume, travellers will once again have direct connectivity between Coimbatore and the UAE.

The Coimbatore–Abu Dhabi service will operate four times a week—on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

According to the schedule, Flight 6E1496 will depart Abu Dhabi at 7:20 am and arrive in Coimbatore at 12:55 pm. The return service, Flight 6E1497, will leave Coimbatore at 2:55 pm and reach Abu Dhabi at 5:25 pm.

The announcement has been welcomed by industrialists, expatriates, and frequent travellers, as the route is an important gateway for business, tourism, and family travel between Tamil Nadu and the United Arab Emirates.

Coimbatore Airport currently offers international connectivity to Sharjah, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi, with the resumption of the Abu Dhabi service expected to further strengthen trade, tourism, and regional connectivity.
