Coimbatore Corporation Announces Special Camp for Plot Regularization from July 15 to 18

Coimbatore Corporation is organizing a four-day special camp from July 15 to 18 for regularizing unauthorized private plots and layouts across 100 wards. The camp will operate from 10 AM to 5 PM across five zones. Plots registered before 2016 are eligible to apply for regularization.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation is set to conduct a special four-day camp from July 15 to 18 for the regularization of unauthorized private plots and layouts located within its 100 wards. The camp will function daily from 10 AM to 5 PM across all five zones of the corporation, according to Corporation Commissioner Khata Ravi Teja, IAS.

To be eligible for regularization, plots must have a sale deed registered before October 20, 2016, or should have been transferred to the applicant's name before that date. Additionally, plots in corporation and municipality areas must have access to a public road with a minimum width of 4.8 meters.


Citizens wishing to participate in the camp must submit required documents including online payment receipt of Rs.500, application form, sale deed and original deed, Patta/DSLR/FMB, plot plan (3 copies), layout plan, topo sketch, and Encumbrance Certificate (EC).

The regularization fee has been fixed at Rs.175 per square meter, while the development charge is Rs.500 per square meter. Plot owners can regularize their properties by paying these fees.


Corporation Commissioner Khata Ravi Teja, IAS has requested eligible citizens to attend this special camp with all necessary documents to benefit from the scheme. Property owners are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to legally regularize their plots.
