Power Supply Disruption Tomorrow (14.07.2026) in Marudur and Surrounding Areas Due to Maintenance Work

Monthly maintenance work at Marudur sub-station will cause power disruption tomorrow from 9 AM to 5 PM affecting thirteen areas including Tholampalayam, Velliyangadu, Siliyur, Dayanur, Marudur, Chenniveerampalayam, Karamadai, Sikkarampalayam, Karichipalayam, Kannarpalayam, Kalathiyur, Pojangannur, and M.G. Pudur.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced a scheduled power disruption for tomorrow (July 14) due to monthly maintenance activities at the Marudur sub-station. The maintenance work is scheduled to take place from 9 AM to 5 PM.

As a result of this essential maintenance work, power supply will be temporarily suspended in thirteen areas under the Marudur sub-station jurisdiction. The affected localities include Tholampalayam, Velliyangadu, Siliyur, Dayanur, Marudur, Chenniveerampalayam, Karamadai, Sikkarampalayam, Karichipalayam, Kannarpalayam, Kalathiyur, Pojangannur, and M.G. Pudur.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to cope with the eight-hour power outage. The electricity board officials have requested the public to cooperate during this scheduled maintenance period, which is crucial for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the electrical infrastructure.

The maintenance work is part of the regular upkeep schedule designed to prevent technical failures and ensure uninterrupted power supply in the long term. The electricity board has assured that power supply will be restored immediately after the completion of maintenance activities by 5 PM tomorrow.
