Power Outage Tomorrow (14.07.2026) at Bhavani Barrage Substation Areas for Maintenance Work

Power supply will be disrupted in areas including Thekkampatti, Nanjaikovundanputhur, and Samayapuram tomorrow from 9 AM to 5 PM due to monthly maintenance work at Bhavani Barrage substation, announced the Electricity Board today.


Coimbatore: Monthly maintenance work is scheduled to take place at the Bhavani Barrage substation tomorrow (July 14) from 9 AM to 5 PM, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board announced today.

Due to this scheduled maintenance activity, power supply will be suspended in several areas under the jurisdiction of the Bhavani Barrage substation. The affected localities include Thekkampatti, Nanjaikovundanputhur, Sukku Coffee Shop area, Samayapuram, Bhadrakaliamman Temple area, Nellithurai, Kendapalayam, Thottathasanur, Ramaiyakovundanputhur, and Uppuppallam.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan accordingly for the eight-hour power disruption. The Electricity Board has assured that normal power supply will be restored by 5 PM after the completion of maintenance work. This routine maintenance is essential to ensure the reliable functioning of the power distribution system and prevent unexpected breakdowns in the future.
