Coimbatore: VIBGYOR High, Coimbatore, hosted “Voices of Tomorrow – Show & Tell Competition”, bringing together preschoolers from multiple schools across the city for an event centred on the theme “My India, My Pride”.

The competition provided young participants with an opportunity to step onto a stage and express their thoughts about India using props, objects, models and pictures. The initiative was designed to encourage children to communicate confidently while giving them a platform to share their ideas and imagination.

The young participants spoke before an audience comprising parents, teachers and fellow students. Their presentations reflected different interpretations of India, its diversity and subjects close to their hearts, with each child bringing an individual perspective to the event.

The event also focused on recognising different forms of talent rather than limiting appreciation to the overall winners. Along with the Winner, First Runner-up and Second Runner-up, category-wise awards were presented to acknowledge different strengths, creative expressions and individual efforts.

Parents, grandparents and educators attended the programme and encouraged the children as they made their presentations. The event provided an opportunity for the young participants to take their early steps towards becoming confident communicators.

The school said the initiative reflected its emphasis on creating opportunities for children to discover their voice, build confidence and celebrate their individuality. By bringing together preschoolers from different schools, the programme also created a platform for children, families and educational institutions to connect through learning beyond the classroom.

The participants received medals, trophies and certificates at the conclusion of the event. The programme emphasised that participation itself was an achievement, encouraging children to value their individual efforts and confidence.

VIBGYOR High, Coimbatore, said it would continue to create child-centric and community-connected learning experiences that extend beyond textbooks and encourage expression, creativity, confidence and meaningful connections.
