'None would've died if Jayalalitha campaigned digitally just like she runs the state'

Pattali Makkal Katchi's chief ministerial candidate Anbumani Ramadoss continued his tirade against DMK and AIADMK accusing them of deceiving the people all through their electoral campaign meetings.

At a public meeting organised in Coimbatore on Sunday to introduce Pattali Makkal Katchicandidates of four districts in the region, Anbumani hit out at chief minister Jayalalithaa for the deaths of partymen who attended her campaign meetings. "The lives could have been saved if Jayalalithaa chose to campaign through video conferencing just like the way she was running the government all five years,'' he said. At Salem, earlier in the day, Anbumani had even said that legal action should be initiated against Jayalalithaa for the deaths of the partymen.

Raking up the issue of unfulfilled promises, Anbumani said, "a chief minister who makes empty promises should not continue in the post''. He said hundreds of textile units in Tirupur have been shut.

Training his guns on the DMK, Anbumani alleged that the party patriarch Karunanidhi was claiming to have introduced 108 ambulance service in Tamil Nadu to gain political mileage when it was he who introduced the ambulance service when he was union health minister. "The ambulance was also introduced in other states like Gujarat and Kerala. If Karunanidhi claims to have launched the service in Tamil Nadu, did he launch it in these states too?'' Anbumani asked.

Seeking to position both DMK and AIADMK as anti-people, Anbumani urged the public to vote for PMK for the welfare of the generations to come.
