Flying squad : Cash seized

Flying squad and static surveillance team officials in Coimbatore on Friday seized Rs. 11.79 crore from a few persons but soon returned Rs. 11.77 crore as the persons concerned proved it was not unaccounted cash.

In the Nilgiris district, officials seized Rs. 10.50 lakh from three persons in Udhagamandalam, Gudalur and Coonoor Assembly constituencies to take the total cash seized to Rs. 1.51 crore.
