Tasmac could well be the AIADMK symbol: Muralidhar Rao

He said the BJP would soon announce minimum support price for tea to support the small tea growers in the Nilgiris district.

The AIADMK government has promoted liquor sales so much in the State that Tasmac could well be the party’s symbol, said Muralidhar Rao, BJP national general secretary and Tamil Nadu in-charge.

Addressing a public meeting at VOC Park here on Monday, he said the BJP would soon announce minimum support price for tea to support the small tea growers in the Nilgiris district. The BJP should be voted to power in the State to ensure that clusters such as Tirupur achieved the targeted growth by 2020, he said. “What we need is a State government that works in harmony with the Central government and for that, it is imperative that the BJP comes to power in the State”, he said.
