Students learn basics of photography

A photography summer camp organised by The Hindu In School in association with Savithri Photo House attracted 55 students from various schools, on Thursday.

Industrial photographer T.A. Natarajan is the trainer for the sixth edition of this camp. He focused on the fundamentals of photography.

Interactive theory lessons will be part of the workshop on the first two days.

They will have hands-on experience in putting their skills to practice at the practical session that will be at the botanical garden near Tamil Nadu Agricultural University from 7 to 10 a.m. on Sunday (May 14).

The workshop was inaugurated by Mahadevan N.N. Krishnan, the director of Savithri Photo House. Mr. Thambi Durai of Savithri Photo House said that even children who are visiting relatives here for the summer vacation are participating in the workshop.
