As the part of World environment, Day ACC will be organizing painting, graffiti competition, science project and junk art competition.
WHAT: The Nilgiri Natural History Society will organize World Environment Day, on June 5 at Kodamalai (near Bandishola), Coonoor.
WHEN: Painting, Graffiti competitions on June 5th. Science Project and Junk Art Competition on June 15th followed by the planting of native plants and talk about them.
WHERE: ACC Community Hall, Kodamalai (near Bandishola), Coonoor.
WHY: This day is observed to create global awareness about environmental problems the world or a specific country is facing. World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on 5 June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth.
