A rally to create awareness about Drug abuse

Every year, June 26th is observed as the international day against drug abuse.

In the intent to create awareness amongst the public, especially the students community, the Narcotics Intelligence Bureau of Tamilnadu Police and Friends of Police in Coimbatore had organised a drug awareness campaign. The rally was flagged off by City commissioner Amalraj at the district collector office today at 10.00 a.m. The rally started from collectorate, passed through DSP signal and concluded at VOC park grounds.



The students from Hindustan arts and science college, Bishop Appasamy College, CMS college, Govt arts and science college, Dr. NGP group of institutions. CSI girls school, CSI matriculation school, Corporation School participated in the rally. The staffs from the district administration and revenue department along with the city police involved actively in the rally.
