CPI(M) State Secretary, G. Ramakrishnan alleges TN & Central Governments


G. Ramakrishnan, State Secretary of Communist Party CPI(M) in a press conference today at Coimbatore, alleged that the law and order in TN is very unsatisfactory and is getting worser, especially after the 2016 state assembly elections. 

The rate of crimes and murders in Tamilnadu has created panic amongst the people, the government has failed to reassure the people and stabilise the alarming situation, he said. 

He scarcastically evoked the statement by TN Assembly speaker proclaiming the state as ''a peaceful place for people''.  

He also stated that Modi's government has failed to curb inflation and stabilise petrol prices.

He apprised that the party will stage protests and rallies between July 10th to July 17th throughout Tamilnadu, condemning on various issues like price hikes. On 15th July, the party will hold protests at all district headquarters in Tamilnadu, he added.

When questioned on the lawyer's strike, he recommended that the lawyers and the chief justice should call for discussions and settle the issue amicably.
