WhatsApp to know your Passport status!


Coimbatore Passport Office has announced an imperative facility for the people to interact with the authorities regarding their passport through WhatsApp. 

People can connect with the enquiry team on 9487992991, this service will be active throughout the week and will commence from this Friday.  People can make use of this service to know about the status of their application, submit grievances, services offered by the passport office, process for applying passport, documents required for it and other related queries. 

To know the status of the application, people should submit their name, date of birth and file number and the passport team will WhatsApp them the status of their application.

People are advised not to make calls to the WhatsApp number. However, the officials informed that the existing enquiry system through phone and email will still be active.
