Vaiko meets press at Coimbatore

The chief of MDMK party Vaiko, headed the Coimbatore District MDMK Activist's meet today. 

In his press meet, he stated that, Tamil Nadu ranks first in crimes nation wide and that the law and order situation in Tamilnadu is in a very pathetic state making even a 7 year old kid feel insecure.

He evoked that the sensational issue of Rs.570 crores seized during election has to be properly scrutinised and the truth behind the scam should be brought to limelight.  

He urged that 'the Madras high court has to be renamed as Tamilnadu High Court'. He strongly condemned the actions of the Andhra Pradesh Government on increasing the height of the check dam at Paalar which would impact severely on the irrigation system and water reservoirs around the region.  

He applauded the Central Government's efforts to approve the harbour project at Colachel and further added that similar ports should be initiated at Enayam, Kanyakumari. 

He outraged that the AIADMK and DMK party have already planned to infiltrate cash during the forthcoming Corporation elections too. He concluded his meet by confirming that his party will continue to be in ally with DMDK and TMC.
