Coimbatore-based Air Carnival will be commencing its flight service from Coimbatore airport on July 18th. The initial schedule will operate daily flights between Coimbatore-Chennai, Chennai-Coimbatore, Chennai- Madurai, Madurai-Chennai every day.
The first flight (ATR-72-500) will begin its operation at 6:55 am from Coimbatore to Chennai coming Monday with an interesting fare. The airline has announced a base fare of Rs.1 exclusive of taxes. The all inclusive fares would vary around Rs. 800-Rs. 1,000 and will continue for the first three months (July-October). The tickets for the first take off on July 18th, is completed sold.
