30 kilos ganja seized in Vettaikaranpudur, Anamalai


A man was taken to custody by for trading Ganja near Anamalai.

The Police received an information about circulation of ganja being around Vettaikaaranpudur area. While patrolling,  they noticed a person with suspicious movements and nabbed him and recovered 30 kilos of ganja from him. Initial investigation revealed his identity as Dharmaraj hailing from the same area.

He confessed of bringing ganja from Theni district and had been supplying it to students around the area and also mentioned about his business tie-ups with a woman who is also suspected to be trading in ganja. 

The Police are investigating him to find out more sources and details.
