The students of law college joined the lawyers in support of their protest against the amendment act.
More than 30 students were arrested for demonstrating a protest at Avinashi road against the amendments made to existing rules under Advocates act.
The traffic was halted for a brief time at the Avinashi road flyover. The police arrested the protestors and cleared off the traffic. The arrest created agitation between the students and the Police.
