Road roko by Elangovan Nagar residents

A road roko was staged by the residents of Elangovan Nagar for restoring drinking water supply in their area.

'Our long-standing plea was never been addressed', they grieved.

They alleged that since their ward councillor belongs to DMK, the opposition party the Corporation has been continuously ignoring their pleas.

The frustrated residents informed that they would intensify their protest if the authorities still remain silent on the issue.

The Police officials arrived at the scene as the traffic was halted for a brief time. They reassured the residents of immediate redressal of the issue and cleared the protest.
