Coimbatore based entrepreneur launches an 'Electronic Cycle cum Bike'


Mill Tech Engineers, a City-based engineering company have developed a much-needed, environment-friendly product. 

'Sparrow Electronic Cycle Bike' - A cycle cum bike which operates solely on electricity is been developed by them. 



ShanmugaSundara Manikandan, Managing Director of the Company stated that they have meticulously designed the product after three extensive years of research. Imported parts along with batteries made up of Lithium are the key features of this product. The bike will be launched in the 30km, 60km, and 100 km specification.

He disclosed that they been receiving an over-whelming response through online orders. He appreciated the people who generously contributed to the development of this environment - friendly bike. 

Presently, 105 bike have been developed with Rs.38 Lakhs. He asserted that people's support for the product will help them to increase the supply in accordance to supply. The deliveries will start from September, he stated. 



He averred that the electronic bike requires 4-6 hours of charging on a daily basis, which is deemed to consume 2-3 units of current. After initial pedalling, he assured that it's all about an easy ride. 

The electronic cycle bike is ideal for hill routes and trekkers. We expect good support from all environmental enthusiasts and naturalists to mitigate the pollution paired with cost effectiveness, he told.
