Sri Krishna Institutions inaugurates Center of Academic Excellence


The department of Information Technology of Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT), Coimbatore in association with ICTACT inaugurated the EMC 'Center of Academic Excellence' in Data Science and Big Data Analytics at their institution. Krishna Kant, Head, EMC Academic Alliance, South Asia, Russia, ANZ was the Chief Guest of the event. 

He addressed the gathering and emphasised on the following:



'Big Data Analytics and cloud computing and data analytics will create a major change in the society and family. The data analytics have been used by almost all organisations' he stated

'The computer field may have a greater change in the forth coming periods. The behaviour of the people can be predicted by the using some APPS in the mobile phones. New revolutions in the computer field discover many apps by using the cloud computing and big data analytics, which may forecast the people mood and behaviour'.

'The developed countries are now using these big data analytics and identify the availability of oil and petroleum, coal in the mines, expanding the business opportunities in insurance sectors and financial institutions, predicts the nature of the vehicle and accident rates etc.' 

'Education and knowledge cannot be possessive and that it meant to be shared to all'. About 40 % of the knowledge can be learnt from the class room, go beyond and out of the class room and domain area to develop the remaining knowledge' he asserted. 

He appealed to the students to make proper use of the social medias and the gadgets by sharing useful information with others. 



The CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions, Dr.K.Sundararaman, Chief Administrator of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology Dr. Jayakumar, Principal Dr.A.Ramesh, Dr. A. Jameer Bhasha, Professors, students and many others participated in the programme.
